What are the threads

in the transmission on an early 700R4, for the cooler line fittings? Are the inverted flare fittings a metric thread?

I checked the transmission - rear end knowledge base and that page does not work. Attention Mods.

If I may add, the lines and flare nut are standard 5/16 also.

I believe they're standard inverted flare on the 700R4. Where they screw in the housing is 1/4"NPT threads. Not sure about the 2004R most of the stuff on it is metric, trans mount, torque converter etc.
