What Transmission should I get for my 79 camaro
I already have a TH350 with a stage 1 shift kit in it and i love the way it shifts but it sucks for highway or cursing. Ive been thinking about a built 700R4 buy i also wanted to see if any one knew if the 6 speed automatic out of the new camaros can work with a old GM 350. any one know?

The T56 will work but, requires some Mods. I'm not a Stick man so I'll leave that to others. Lots of guys using them in F, G, A bodies etc..
I'd use the 2004R instead of the 700R4. 2004R's the same length as the TH350, will require a TH400, Modded TH350 or an Aftermarket crossmember. TV Cable & Brackets, TCC Lockup Kit.

the 700 is 3 in longer than the 350 but the 200r has a diffrent mount location either one is good if built right
