What vaccum port to use?

I have a 327 SBC with a 1406 Edellbrock carburator in my 37 Ford. What vaccum advance port is recommended, the ported port, or the full time port.

Thanks Redlighting

After reading your recommended article, and other threads, I think I found my answer to use the full vaccum port
