What will be your next Hot Rod?

Okay, if you had to Hot Rod another Hot Rod, what would it be? In other words, what is going to be your next one? Here it is for me:

Next Hot Rod (in a specific order)
1. 1978 Chevy Corvette ... I would drop in a 6-speed tranny, put on some fuel injection, drop in a ZZ4 crate engine, get some wide wheels in the back, jack up the back, put headers on her, convert to a true dual exaust, get some loud beefy exaust, and get some nice paint job (flames)
2. 1967 Cadillac Coupe de Ville ... Preferably a convertable, drop in a nice engine, put some fuel injection on it, put a 6-speed on the floor, and some nice Cragar S/S wheels, get some loud exaust, as well as a nice paint job
3. 1971 Chevy Chevelle ... Jack up the back a little, put some thick wheels and tires in the back, maybe change the paint job (depending on the current situation), and get some loud exaust

What about you? Any future plans?

See that bucket of bolts. I'm working on it now.

My daughter is 13 so I am starting to look for a car we can do together. Keeping her off rice is gonna be a trick. She does like early 80's Cameros and Mustangs, so there is hope.
I think there is another chop top lead sled in me. I also would like a real challenge. Say a car that NOBODY wants. A Citreon (sp) or a ford Fairmont, Chrysler K car and just go outrageous!

I'm with Nos-

I want a 71-72 (I think that's what they are, the ones with the round tail lights). It is definately going to be my next project no matter what. I already have the 402 that's going to go in it. I want to bag it, put the biggest meats I can in the back, and have them be 18"s all the way around. The 402 will be mild and EFI, and it will have all the luxuries like power brakes, power windows, power seats, power steering, A/C!, and a heater. I want this one to be able to go ANYWHERE, not like the last couple I built where they weren't good on the highway, and cold in the winter, and HOT in the summer. Something comfortable, and very CRUISABLE!

Hopefully a big fendered 30's car or maybe a super trick AAR Cuda clone with all modern running gear and custom suspension, or a tricked out 2nd gen Corvair with an all alum mouse and 6 speed. Dare to be different...

Now that I'm virtually finished with my 65 I'm going to start on my 67 GTO convertible this winter. It's going to be a frameoff resto with some upgrades, ie: brakes, suspension and steering. Other than that it'll be relatively stock but it'll still fly. It'll take a few years to complete. (I hope!)

Then I'm doing a Pontiac powered traditional (no billet) street rod with an old 389 tripowered motor I've got in my garage. I may have to buy something with a Ford or Chevy motor in it only to rip it out and convert it over to Pontiac.

I have visions of a 41 Chevy coupe. Shaved everything, smooth firewall, low as she goes in front, a narrowed Dana 60 and a well decorated mildly blown big block (as long as it all fits under the hood) killer flawless paint, perfect custom bodywork and interior to match and yes.. you guessed it, a CHROME grille and CHROME bumpers.

I just bought a 68 Thunderbird with a 429 in it. All the talk about turbos in another thread has me planning a twin turbo set up for it. Plain black steel wheels, paint it grey, 3" dual exhaust.

53 Chrysler Sedan, 383, 4 gear, 4:10's?,
