This has got to be the funniest one yet I'll have to read on later but I dout any tops this

I guess my worst so far is a damn VCR, from the wife, she even put it in a great big box with some bricks in it to throw my off

Bought a new TV for my mom. Set it up in the living room on christmas morning. I thought I would wait till she noticed. She noticed on Jan 4th.

Back when I was a teenager I was into heavy metal. They had on tv a tape by a lame singer named slim whitman that I would make fun of when the advertising came on. Open a present to find out I got a slim whitman tape. I think I threw it out, don't remember. Got a dukes of hazzard garbage can when I was a kid too, didn't really like that much. Also presents from my godmother, always bought me really preppy shirts and crap I would never wear.

I know my grandparents mean well, but I always manage to get the tackiest (too me anyway) shirts and sweaters for x-mas and my birthday. I wear white car T-shirts all yeat and I wind up with this maroon sweater with stripe thing across the chest. I would look good... If I was 75. Instead I'm 18.

Not exactly in step with the title, but....

One year my wife wanted a new expensive mixer. Christmas morning I gave her a big box. When she opened it, she found a drill press. I told her that we both could use it. Just that when she wanted it I would duct tape some spatulas on it for her. If looks could kill... Then I gave her the mixer.

Years ago my girlfriend and I would exchange gifts with my friend and his wife. I got him a 3D cell Mag light. He got me a roll of duct tape. He told me it was just a joke. I should have taken the Mag light back.

I'm Glad I'm not the only one with the ugly shirt/sweater problem. They might look okay on me if I looked like Yoda... But I don't.

Jump up, give her a great big hug and a kiss and say, "Thanks Sweetie! Now I don't have worry about grease and oil dripping on my good t-shirts when I am under the car!"

The car will have to be in the garage so the neighbors can't see me. These were some seriously ugly shirts!

There probably have been worse gifts in the past that I have forgotton, but this year one gift ranks up towards the top.
My elderly mother-in-law lives with my wife and I. The wife one day said that Helen just didnt know what to get me for Christmas. I said she could get me a set of Lite-n-Bolts, those that provide light on the tag and bolt it on as well. Told her how much they were, and where to order them from. We set up a little play at breakfast, where I said "Honey do you think we can afford these lighted bolts for my truck? I have been wanting and need them really bad". She said "you should wait, with it being the time of year it is, and who knows, maybe Santa will get it for you". Helen was sitting right there.
Well this package came addressed to me, from Harry and David's, with fruit and crap in it. It was Christmas from Helen. I fed the sausage and cheese to the dogs, gave the candy to a friend of my wife, dont like Pears, but did eat the two apples.
