Yeah so my friends said that they would buy the model car fuel to run my engine off of (cuz of the nitro methane in it) When I go to kill my 305 sometime... Umm would this just blow up??? I really don't wanna be cleaning out my fuel lines so what would this to do them????

You would have to change all your jets to run the menthanol propery through the carby. I rekon you could buy 100% nitro methane from a hobby shop, a little water pump, an old windscreen squirter or something a 12 volt speed controller and finally a high quality "fine misting" nozzle nurseries use for propagating cuttings of plants, stick that in your manifold under your carby and dial on as much horse power as you want. Probably end up killing yourself before your motor. Anyway why do you want to kill the 305, just think maybe one day you'll find a nice little 2500 pound car that needs an engine, maybe you'll break the 400 and need it later on? ???

if you want to kill it and gofor a minuit or two put about 10 botles (give or take a couple itdosent really mater) of rubing alcohol in the tank and then about half a tank of gas in it tow it to a smooth dirt road and go but be sure to have the truck that towed you to the dirt road handy because you wont be driving home in the car. and it is cheaper than rc car fuel

If you run stright nitro it will blow up when you go to start it.The blown cars can startup because of airflow. On our injected nitro car we have to startup on alcohol first than switch over from the bottle or else it will blow up. I wouldnt want to be on the side of the motor when its lit up.Just some advice, live smart. <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[nono]" />

I know you know this already, but
that sounds really dangerous. I had
a buddy back in high school who
let some jerk drive his souped camaro, the
guy pushed it well into the redlines while
in neutral and blew up the engine.
pieces of it went everywhere including
his face, he now has a big scar.
.....maybe if you are a pirate or something this kind of look could work for you.

The hottest model car/plane fuel is only 30 percent nitro I believe. The rest is alcohol. You will have to rejet as thought is was all alcohol. And it will probably crater.
