What Year is of my ford 302 motor?
Hi: I have a 1923 t bucket with a ford 302 in it. My question is how can i tell what year this motor was built and where will i look on block to get that information.

From HERE:
"The quickest path to block identification is the casting number and date code found above the starter on the right-hand side of the block on 221/260/289/302, Boss 302 and 351W/351C engines."

Yep.. casting number has the date as a letter and a number
C= 1960's D= 1970's E= 1980's F=1990's number is the actual year... so if you had an E7 casting, then you would have a 1987 engine.. or D8 would be 1978, and so on
