the numbers arent on it but it does have the two piece seal for the crank and a three bolt starter?? taking over a project and it didnt come with the starter or flywheel and i cant find a starter to match the big flywheel.
We know it's before 1986 because that's when chevy went to a one piece RMS. And if you have the 168 tooth flywheel you will need the staggered pattern for your starter, And if it's the 153 tooth you will need the straight across pattern. And they have a starter that will work for either pattern also maybe a little pricey though.
Oh, and with the three bolt holes try going with the outer bolt hole and it should line up. JMO
