What year and type "tremec" 4 speed trans
 

I am leaning towards this trans because of availability.Compared to muncie [1960s-70s] or borg warner, saginaw.Would this be a good option?This is going in a 55 chevy.2-dr sedan bob s

Do you mean five speed? The 4-speeds I familiar with are Jeep, etc.
