JEEEEES!
Seeing what some of you guys drive as "dailys" is making me jealous!! It also makes me realize that I am desperately in need of my own project!!!

I drive a 94 Nissan Sentra 4 dr. it used to be my wifes but she got a Tacoma. It was around the same time I sold my dream car... It was a 1964 Valiant Convertable w/ Slant6 and a FACTORY four on the floor!! a very rare combo (they did nothing to cover the big empty space on the dash where the button shifts would have been...)Once I get myself decently employed again I will be in the market for a new daily and my own project (a guy can only go so far helping with his dads project)

For dailys I am hoping to get a well equipped 94ish Cadillac DeVille or 96 Olds 98, I feel both cars would look cool with slightly bigger wheels and a little low..

For projects right now I am in love with the following and any one of them would make me happy. I live in CA. and old cars are easy to come by if you have the $$, but I dont!!
1968 Imapla (not the fast back)
1972 Buick Sportwagon (I have seen some buick wagons that had that "olds custom cruiser" roof window)
1967 Cadillac Deville "75" this is the one that was also used to make limos, but it was sold as an 8 passenger sedan too
1964 Lincoln Continental- 4dr

My wife also has a project car that she owned since she was 16, right now it is has been in storage for 15 years and only gets driven occasionally. It is a 1960 Mercedes 190sl. Yes I know..its not american, but I have new respect for german autos after driving this thing!! Of course I will have to split my priorities between her car and mine.

dmorris it just seems that you and a couple other people are the only ones that "don't belive me" when i actually know you belive me but you're just jealouse because my car is ALOT faster than yours. But hey that's alright I'm cool w/ that. I don't really mind that you are sitting at home pissed of that a 19 year old kid has a faster car than you
(paid less for it to)

P.S.- If I'm 100% full of ***** then why do you belive 10% of what I say. That means you belive 10% of *****.. Looks like someone needs to go back to 3rd grade Math

My winter driver and all round work and play is a 68 Ford Bronco Half Cab. I'm 2nd owner since 1987, and its still ticking along with a sweet running 289. Just got back from a 30 day, 5000 miles hunting trip and it just purred like a kitten. Course my back maybe complaining a bit. My summer driver for fun is a 36 Ford 5WC with a mild Heart Beat for power. Now if Santa will bring me a digital camera and I can figure out how to do the tricks, I'll post some pics of these and other projects completed!!

I drive a 91 VW Jetta Diesel, non turbo. 50-60 MPG is pretty addicting for commuting.

Recently my Dad just gave me his pride and joy, he's getting on in years (81) and wants me to take care of it and drive it. I helped him pick it out and he has loved that car since he got it, I do too!

What is it?

A 94 Taurus SHO Titanium blue, 4 dr...loaded...leather, premium JBL sound the works. You could say I got the Christmas present every man dreams of, she needs a few parts (water pump, cam sensor, thermostat, rad) but otherwise it is mint with only 160 000Km.

Dad says I need to travel in style, I say never disagree with your father. Thanks Dad, she's in capable hands. You know I don't think the car has ever seen more than half throttle since my Dad has owned it (except those times I borrowed it ...), we might have to blow out the accumulated carbon out of her this weekend . See? there is a Santa!

Anyone want to see a pic of Chucky's new ride?

just thinking about HRK, and the latest issues with the board, and thought we might want to congratulate mynameizcarlos for getting past his initial troubles with the site, and starting a topic that quite a few people have enjoyed. any seconds on the motion? (not that he should get ahead of himself, but positive reward for positive action is always good)
