Mine is an 8.96 in the 1/8 with the timing off bad in the mustang. It should go high 7's

Oh man, I haven't gone nearly as fast or quick as I want to.

My best is a 13:88 at 99.99 in the quarter with my 65 Gran Sport Convertible.

That was when we had a drag strip near by and I would put the slicks on and uncap the headers at my shop and drive about 6 miles to the track!

Those days are history, the shop and track are gone and as crazy liberal as it has gotten around here I would be dragged from the car and pepper sprayed if I tried it.

Brian

In my '78 T/A (W72 400/4spd manual/3.42 posi), my all-time best is a 14.25 at 100 mph in the 1/4 with street tires. Friends say that it's a 13-second car, but I don't have the experience or launch control to get there, yet.

13,7 with a 70 SS Chevelle........That track is long gone too, don't know if it was liberals. I do know the farmers didn't like the noise.

I know I'm not the brightest bulb on the string of lights but I don't get it. A Nova doing a burn out, am I missing something?

well its no big block nitrous car like deadbodyman has (nice car though), but heres my car and i drove it 70 miles round trip to and from the track, and made 9 runs in 94% humidity, and over 3/4 tank of gas on this run which was a 14.00.

NICE !!!! 48, Looks like my track talk livened things up a little ...Thanks again Brian We have a little track in Jackson S.C.and on thursdays it's nothing but legal street racing for money. Trash talk is everything and the faster cars dont always win so you really got to talk it up to make people want to beat you to a pulp, useually they want too beat you so bad they'll smoke the tires or get the nose up, losing the race.its not always the faster car but the cooler heads that win.BTW thats not me driving and its my partners car ,I just built it...My sphincter just aint strong enough to go that fast......I'm the one taking the vidio
