I gotta have one of those... great idea and I have one of those vises and never used it.. Right next to the wood stoves not a bad Idea either..

vice mount.

I welded the square tube to my flat bed truck and one to the trailer, I also have a southworth Hyd lift table in the shop so I can push the button to bring it up to good working height.

Think about it guys, you are breathing METAL, you are breathing tiny pieces of METAL. MUCH of which is galvanized coated (no you don't need to see the galvanizing like on a chain link fence, MANY of todays metals on products like automobiles and trucks for many years has been galvanized) you are breathing ZINC.

It's something small, but when I make my engine dolly's I make my trans dolly's so you can roll them together and bolt them up. My biggest fault was using casters which are too weak for the job:

Rotisserie

WOW lots of great gadgets here and cleaver ides! I made a rotisserie system that works out very well for us in our busy restoration shop.
