Post What's the deal?

Been reading this site for a couple of months. It seems to be well ran and has some very good info, but in the last week or so seems to have gone to hell. It seem like alot silly games and BS posts. I hope this is not the new trend. I also wish everyone would read their message before they post. I hope I dont sound like I'm complaining too much, but I don't want to see a good thing get screwed up.

Ah! Another fellow Ohioan. Were almost catching up with the Canadians. It's a great site. Just every once in awhile a juvenile breaks out from the detention center and happens to show up here. They come, they go, but they won't ruin this site. Hope you stay around and don't be put off by a few bad apples. This site might not be as good as some when it comes to weeding them out, but it's better than most. Just takes a little time to get the job accomplished. And with more and more legit people on here it will run the others off.

Kevin

Your not the only one who has noticed, unfortunetly children will play werever they can cause the most trouble.

Sometimes you wish you could just run them over.

Kevin, at least hot rodding is still alive and well in Ohio. Just live down Rt 68 from you in Wilmington. I think we can give the Canadians a good run. As much as gas and parts are here I wouldn't want to have to pay in Canadian money.

Hello again,

Didn't want you to think I was too sore or anything...posted a reply on the original thread.

So there are a lot of Ohio farmers here huh (present company included)? This is a hard state to own a hot rod in and drive it regularly. If it isn't the tons of road salt, its the Highway Patrol. And if you have 18 wheels or more, don't EVEN think of speeding in this farm state.

Welcome, this is the best site i know of. If i don`t let the little people, get to me with their trash mouth and games. I think that is all they want is to jerk some chains. They don`t last to long before the crew here gets after them. The site is self policing with Jon clearing the way. I have tried quite a few sites looking for a home so to speak, and have not found any i like better than this one.

Have any of you fellow Ohio hotrodders had any dealings with Chevy Restoration World in Dayton. They sell Goodmark parts at a fair price and are great to deal with. I have a '70 Nova SS with a 468 BB and Th400. Will be getting a bonus at work the 15th so I'll be on first name basis with them soon. Can I claim them as dependants? Any tips or ideas on restoration would be great. thanks.

Ahhh.... Ohio... the heart of it all... Or so my license plate told me!?

We ROCK!

I know I am a day late and a $1 short, but welcome, Gassman and Kaylah! Glad to have you here and it's a bonus you're from Ohio! Well maybe not a bonus (I mean I am sure we'd all love to live in Hawaii), but it's nice to see more folks from Ohio!
