Monday, the day after the Raiders won to go to the S.B., a Honda Civic with 4 Raider flags, 4 Mexico flags, about 35 Raider bumper stickers, and Mexico license plate on the front. where's the cops when you want them?..lol. there wasn't a parade anywhere that day!

There are a couple of cars locally that grind me. One is a FWD rice burner with a huge wing on the trunk lid. Another is a purple Firebird like the one Burt Reynolds drove in Smokey and the Bandit. The owner has painted the headlamp doors, the spoilers behind the 4 wheel openings and the bottom 1/3rd of the sides of the car a bright school bus yellow. Really sucks.

There's a mid 80's cavalier around my house that has custom white and purple checkered flags painted all over the front half of it. Since when did the checkered flag become purple and white?!?

Cool

I took a Ford curier/ the predicessor to the Ranger. Put a giant hood scoop on it and all the car product stickers I had accumulated and covered both front fenders and part of the doors.
Saved throwing all those stickers away and helped sell the truck because of the giant hood scoop.

A few years back, when the low-rider craze was just starting, I saw a 64 chevy 4 door bel-air with about 500 bottle caps pop riveted to each fender, "teeth" side out. WTF?????

Saw a kid last year driving around in a front wheel drive Cavalier with big tires on the back, and one of those plastic newspaper boxes screwed onto the hood for a hood scoop.

The bottle caps on the Bel-air reminds me of an Austin Mini I saw as a kid. It was in the mall as a charity contest. It was completely covered with pennies. (everywhere there was metal) The deal was to guess the quantity of coins to win. Speaking of Minis; There is a guy in my area with a Mini turned into a tiny tractor trailer rig. It has tandem rear axles, the body has been turned into a cab, and has a custom trailer. Its well done, but a rather strange project. To each their own...

Here fishy, fishy!!

i think one of the stupidest things i've seen was a car, think it was a monte or cutlass, with a paper-mache hood scoop. also saw a late 70's firebird with a porsche whale-tail spoiler - that looked really bad.

I remember.....many moons ago. Pulled into a petrol station on the way to the Chelsea Cruise. A MK2 Ford Cortina pulls in. This Cortina is immaculate in deep glossy black paint. Except the owner has put a chrome tap.....yes a water tap, like in your kitchen or bathroom, on the bonnet (sorry, HOOD).

Blue LED water jets look uncool these days.
