JCWhitney has a Engine Rebuild VIDEO for $19.99.
It is 2.5 hours long and uses the 350.

H.P. Has a book on "How to rebuild your Small block Chevy". And I think S.A. also has one , they should be in book stores or in summit racing cat. Good reference material

H.P. - "How to rebuild your Small block Chevy". I wore out two copies of it with students in engine rebuilding classes. Most of them bought their own copies after they greased mine.

I may have to buy since I never have gotten anything like this before.

GM Performance Book tell you how to blueprint a motor with their specs. Has good tips and pictures. Has porting on heads. They also have a CD on it.
Can be had from any GM performance dealer around $15. or less
this is the only one I use the most.

My personal favorite, but out of print and very tough to find is "Racing Engine Preparation" by Waddell Wilson. Waddell was the head engine builder for Junior Johnson back in the 80's. All sorts of usefull info. If you do a search on the Borders or Barnes and Noble web sites they have several old copies but the price is fairly high.

A very reliable plain vanilla book is "How to Build the Smallblock Chevrolet" by Larry Atherton and Larry Schreib. It is in the S-A Workbench Book series. It just about tells you what hand to use and has lots of pictures. If you do what they say, it is hard to make a mistake.
