What's this middle port on sbc heads?

I am replacing the intake manifold gaskets and I looked online for the one Trick flow shows to use with these heads and there's a middle port on the heads that there isn't an opening for on the gaskets. gasket is Fel-Pro 1205. What is this port? Does the gasket need a port for it? TFS 195cc heads with 64cc chambers, the kenny duttweiler sig heads

Exhaust crossover.
Warms the manifold and choke
On stock vehicles there is a thermal valve
that closes the exhaust manifold on the
passenger side of the engine.
The exhaust exits thru the manifold into
the left exhaust manifold until the the right thermal
spring opens the valve.

These are usually spring loaded, so they will open
with a high volume of exhaust.
Once warm the spring will hold the valve open.

Only needed for a quicker warm up

Aight so if the gasket covers, it will be fine right? It won't build up pressure and crack the gasket?

Should be okay
I blocked that same port on the
454 in the elky.

I'm not to worried about it.
Hell--you live in Az--a warm up is the least of your worries
