Plasma cutters makes life SO easy. I just need more practice with it. My hands shake more than Michael Jackson at a Boy Scout convention....

Good one Been2
But after careful consideration I'd say the most useful tool I have would be me.

Hands down winner on the duct tape! This is a reservation home/trailer lifesaver. I can never count anymore how many things I used that stuff for, but its a priceless commodity for sure. But maybe its not a tool? Its more like a supply.
Out of the real tools I have now, my most used tool is a Makita cordless 9.6v drill, 3/8 drive. This is the one that is right angled so you can get it into really tight places. I got that a couple years ago on eBay, the guy sold me the regular drill, the tight corner drill, and the guy threw in 7 batteries and two chargers. It was $90 plus $11 s/h. That was one of the best and most useful tool buys I ever had. |

I don't know why I didn't think of this before today, but the most useful tool I have is a 1 1/16 craftsman box end wrench. While you might not think of this as useful, I use it every day. I have a 1980 F-150 and before I got it, someone managed to break the shifter handle off. Instead of getting it fixed, they welded a nut onto the shifter and welded the wrench on as the handle. I could fix it, but I don't think I will, I think it gives the truck character.
