whats this part called?

Hey guys ive had my edelbrock 1406 off my 350 for a few days now waiting on a gasket for it. Got to playing around with an old quadrajet I had in a parts box #10708213 and cleaned it up to see if it would run. After figuring out all the routing of the vac lines I realized it had a hot air choke. I had a spare one of those metal tubes that go into the exhaust port on the intake but its in rough shape and I would like to get a new one but cant find one anywhere. What are the called exactly. Btw that quadrajet runs really nice after adjusting it and driving with it the power is very nice compared to the edelbrock and the choke is more reliable then the electric I had on ky 1406. I think ike gonna keep the quad on now. I know its old technology but its cool to me and I like the way it works/runs.

If you use google images and type in quadrajet choke tube there are several examples of what I think you're referring to part way down the page.

on the Summit site search for choke tube in the keyword search box

Looks like there's 2 manufacturers who make reproduction tubes. Classic tube and Right Stuff detailing

You can make a tube.

There were two types choke tube to choke housing connections used (see photo for details). One was a push-on fit at the choke housing w/a synthetic rubber collar that goes over the choke housing nipple and has the tube fit into it on the other end. These are the easiest to work with. Then there is a threaded choke housing nipple. It, too, can be fitted w/a rubber collar-type affair.

The tube itself can be made from copper, aluminum or steel tubing.
The tubes were covered w/an insulating sleeve to help hold in the heat. Use a spark plug wire sleeve for this.
