What's up with autobody101.com?

I tried to go to autobody101 several times this morning and all I get is a window that says the account has been suspended. Did they not pay their bill?

re: What's up with autobody101.com?

It got plenty of traffic. Maybe it's just a temporary problem.

re: What's up with autobody101.com?

Here is the gig fella's.. the owner has paid all the way thru June of 09.. so its not an issue on his side..

the company that owned the server 101 went thru went belly up.. so now you have another company that has bought them out and they own the server 101 was on.. At this time we dont know if they will turn it back on, or if it will be added to their servers etc..

So for now its down.. If we dont have some information by the middle of this week, I plan on startng another forum just like it along with Horsepower who was the one who designed the site to begin with for the owner..

Someone on refinish made the best analogy I could have ever thought of regarding 101.. It was like the "Walmart" of paint/body sites ..

Anyone could come and talk about any paint and it was not brand specific or niche specific ie.. a pontiac forum or a mustang forum etc etc etc..

So dont worry, Walmart will be back

re: What's up with autobody101.com?

Added the forum at AutoPaintingInfo.com to the Crankshaft Coalition Master List of Hotrodding Forums. RefinishNetwork.com still looks a little small, but I've bookmarked it for future review and potential addition to the list.

If Autobody101.com needs a hand with anything, and thinks we might be able to help, someone please tell them to shoot me an email at: jon at hotrodders.com.

Way cool of you BondoKing to do that if needed. Hotrodders, 101 and autobodystore are my big three forums and I have learned much from them over the last several years.
