Racer56, I will say a prayer for your surgury. And thatnks for the offer to help. But I'm buyin a new set of pistons elswhere the same with rings and bearings and all the other work will be done in time for me to put it together this next weekend. I'll let you know how it comes out. I baught this truck in late July. It had a 305 in it. I took a 350 I built a couple years ago out of an ugly truck and put it in. I had it runnin a few weeks when I took My wife to Little rock to a Mall. When I came out I found someone like my truck too. They found it the next day stripped and abandoned. What they didn't steal the cut or broke. It took 2 months to get it back together. It ran for 3 weeks before the Claimers came apart. So I'm not going to wait and fight it out with a corporate exectutive about some parts. Jegs aren't doin anything but refunding my purchase for the pistons. And I can't expect them to take a lose for silv-o-lite's junk. It's just a lesson learned..
And Yes engineczar it was a typo I used a .017 and .008 feeler guage to measure the ring end gap. I have many typo's.
