whats wrong with my brakes???
Ok so in this 1980 mustang when I'm not on the brakes you can hear an air sound like when an air hose has a leak but when I step on the brakes it goes away?any ideas?

Is the sound coming from under the hood?
Vaccum hose, check valve, or booster perhaps?

Booster. Maybe your brake pushrod is too long.

booster leak
common issue happens could replace it with one that doesnt leak or just turn up the sterio
