you are correct
I haul asphalt for paving roads, but also (winter time mostly) a fair amount roofing for another customer

That's a cool little truck. I had a 62 Falcon Ranchero for a while years ago. It's funny, I remember who I bought it from, I remember driving it but don't have a clue as to why or when I sold it, man this mind of mine.

I just handed over the 05 Infiniti to the wife for the summer while I drive my 76 C10 with a 350 TPI/700r4 combo.

Early spring here, so I will get a good driving season this year.

This is my DD as it fits me better then the '12 Ford Fusion. Since gas passed $4/gallon yesterday, the 10mpg '06 F350 V10 will be garaged more and the DOHC I4, ~30mpg Fusion will be getting more miles added to the odometer:



No, it's not lifted, just has the off road package, which puts it at 85" tall and clears the garage door top frame by ~1.5 inches

Is that the fx35 or 45? I've been looking at those. How's the gas mileage on it?

It's an FX4, Off Road, F350 Super Duty Crew Cab, 8000+ pounds, 416 cid, 4.10 gears
As far as gas mileage - before 10% ethanol it was close to 12mpg, now, 10 around town. Open road trip, 14 plus if you keep it 2100 rpm or less. Not an inexpensive truck to own as far as maintenance and parts tho the diesel version is higher regardless of what their owners say in defense of that choice

FX45.

Good power but milage is about the same as my TPI truck. I get about 17 on the highway, (US gallon)

Sorry guys, I haven't felt well the last four days and I haven't been on the computer but I just read all the post and there are some great rides and pictures even. Sounds like we are all getting concerned about the cost of fuel, it will really affect the cost of my trip to Ohio at the end of the month. My truck gets around sixteen mph, I filled it up one day last week and it held $90.00 0f 93% octane. But I would not miss the trip if it was $8.00 per gal.
