If I just had to have a Ford .... it would be a late 60s Fairlane (66-69) or Falcon (65-70). I like those nice clan bodies. Early mustangs are fine, but I just get so sick and tired of seeing them! Everbody wants a Mustang, which is just a cut-up Falcon anyway!!
I have tried to come up with a definitive answer, but I could not do it. I have owned a glass T, a full fendered 33 sedan and now a 29 tudor. So my answer would be any 23 to 40 with a SBC.
this should cause some friction! if ford would have brought out the 260,289 and 302's and put them into 1955 and 1956 fords, especially the crown victorias and the 1957 fairlane 500 instead of the y-blocks things would be what?somewhat different, alot different or as i believe ford would have been more popular today than the 1955 thru 1957 chevy's.have fun with that!! :boxing:
I got a real good deal on my MustangGT. Bought it for $12.000 with 20,000 miles on it. Supercharge was all ready on it. The guy i got it from had to sell it. (IRS) was after him.
My Favorite Ford of All Time is this one "The California Kid" built by legendary Pete and Jakes - featured in the TV Movie of the same name starring a young Martin Sheen...
I LIKE 64 65 FALCONS AND COMETS TWO DOOR HARDTOPS . ILIKE THE CHROME AROUND THE WINDSHIELD ,THEY ARE LIGHTWEIGHT CHEAP AND ALREADY LOOK LIKE THE TOP HAS BEEN CHOPPED. I LIKE MY 64 FALCON SPRINT 289 TOP LOADER 4 SPEED.
