wheel adapters
Any one out there know if they make an adapter to go from a 4 lug blot pattern to a 5 lug bolt pattern? Its hard to find a nice wheel in a 4x100mm pattern with a rear wheel drive offset to fit the Chevette. I have 4 aluminum rims off a Ford Escort but the bolt pattern is too big. I would file the bolt holes to fit, but I don't know how safe that is ,and I'd have to get spacers for them.

Any good machine shop can redrill the wheels if the back is designed in such a way to accept the new holes.I had a Pinto station wagon in 1979 and could not find any wide 4 lug mags at that time. I got some 5 lug slots and welded the holes up then had a machine shop redrill them for the Pinto pattern. It worked great and I was the only one with 14X8 rear wheels on a stock Pinto.
