wheel hop... 1997 F250

everytime i step on it in my 1997 ford F250 heavy duty the back end just bounces.. every time.. the truck is lifted 4 inchs.. with 35" tires.. but wut would cause so much wheel hop? i can;t even do a decent burn out without giving myself whiplash.. and it does have RDS shocks.. maybe it needs new ones??

U-Joint

Have a real good look at your U-joints. Hoop is usually something winding up the torque. Also try putting a couple of bags of concrete (or any thing weighing about 100 lbs) in the very rear of the truck. Does the hoop go away? Yes = tire size or tread.

looked at the u joints.. there all still solid... but i noticed the yoke i think its called.. holds the diff to the frame with the rubber around it.. its between the trany and diff.. theres a good inch of play in there.. up and down.. i thought a little is normal for there?? as for the weght in the back.. havent tried that yet.. will soon.. the tires are street tire tread... just tall and wide..

Spring wrap is a real pain...I have it on my Sonoma V8 conversion. When you raised your truck those blocks increased the leverage effect on the springs making it even worse.

I think we are both looking at traction bars in our future!!
