It's a '63, Frank. It should be here Wednesday after waiting 7 weeks for it...

I dig the 'DIY airconditioning' Russ (no windshield).
Cool little car, you're right those wheels gotta go.

That's right, we've had some discussions about that car already! Hard to keep boards and conversations straight sometimes...

Thanks Joe!

No price list so they're prolly a budget buster.

Saw these pics some time ago. Sleeper steel wheels made out of light weight Weld Draglite:

Made with paint and a adapter to mount the dog dish on:

westmus, LOVE IT!!!

Any idea where that came from? Looks like it could be vacuum formed from plastic sheet, set in place, and held on by the cap.

Now that's a clever idea! Also gives more possibilities for wheel sizes than typical steel wheels! I like steel wheels, but they are limited size choices without going to a custom built wheel.

Posted a question on his You-tube video, maybe he'll get back with us. In the meantime, I found a couple places that sell "wheel skins" but nothing that really looks like a "steelie". I paged through them all and found a few that could work...
