Well, warm is warm. But the fumes should be well vented for your safety. Michigan get ... cold, but I have 12 arc welders working every day and the early morning temp only reaches 36 degrees. I have been told that we need to heat the shop if it goes below 32. So, I think dad is right. Not a Ford man, so I can't help you on the swap. Buy one of those throw away camera's and take lots of pictures as you go. I have about 7 books full of old photo's in the garage. Some of my daughters learning. Good to look back on.
