I don't buy much in the way of tools any longer. I sold my drag bike due to a bad back and so far what little progress I've made on my rod has been done with what I have.
Besides my wife won't let me buy a Haas VF-2 mill for the garage. Yes Paris, there are more fish in the sea, but she's a great cook.
I don't buy anything from Harbor Freight that you hit, like hammers (AKA Ford Wrench) or punches, etc. I do have ten of their die grinders set up with various carbide burrs, sanding and finishing discs. And, I don't put any oil in them as I do some fiberglass work and don't want oil contamination in the glass.
By the way, if you find a Snap-On tool in my box, I can assure you it belongs to someone else...... I can't afford those things.
