I am converting my press in stud heads to screw in studs, and most people when doing so start using guideplates as well.
I have comp magnum rail-type rocker arms, that say they arn't for use with guideplates. The rail type rockers will be self aligning, so would i need to run guideplates? If not that would save me having to replace the new pushrods in the motor and buying the guideplates themselves.
Or when converting to screw in studs, do you need guideplates, which meens i need to buy new rocker arms too? or could these rockers be ran with guideplates?
