head milling
if its a large single plane you an set them on there with the gaskets ang snug em down and look at the right angle with a light if your lucky to see if you can see part of the roof of the head port.can with a brodix anyway.if not you can put something on ther to leave a witness mark and take them back off to see.be sure to use weatherstrip adhesive to hold them to the head.

The best way to be sure is to pin the heads and intake manifold. If you are serious about getting all the free power you can you'll need to do it anyway so you can port match the intake/gasket/heads.

Thanks guys for the info. I did not think I would have to have it milled I just don't want any more issues with oil on my plug threads. I had my heads done with all new bronze liners and ditched the umbrella seals and went with a ring and band type seal so I am hoping my issues with the oil on the back of my intake valves and getting on my plug threads and causing misfire problems will be all gone. If it happens again I don't know what I will do since everything else is fine.
