Wink Where can I find one of these ?

I am working on a Muncie SM465 4 Speed , and I need the front Bearing Retainer (Casting #3901179), it's the piece that the Throw Out Bearing rides on, mine is scored up pretty bad. Does anyone have one ? or know where I can locate one for a decent price ? Thanks in advance, Wheels Up Racing

I don't know if they make one for your application, but you can get a quill shaft repair kit (sleeve) from the parts store (probably NAPA). They make them for aluminum units especially and as long as it's not gouged out on one side (common with aluminum), you should be able to fix the problem with a sleeve.

Go to 5speeds.com. They should have the part you need or be able to tell you where you can get it.

I searched Autozone / Napa online for a sleeve, and I can't find any, of course that does not mean they don't have it. I have never liked the sleeves on a SBC front seal tho, so I think I would like to find a replacement, prefer Used..

I went to 5speeds.com, and they do not apear to deal with Truck trannies, but I did E-mail to see if they can help.

Thanks a bunch for the responses so far, I Really apreciate it.

Try National Automotive, find their info at:
http://www.natauto.com/
They do not offer online shopping BUT they will probably have your part.
