I've got an 85 Monte Carlo....

thinking bout raising the whole car 3-5 inches

why not
i dont wanna make a monster truck out of it but.... i dunno... its been sitting on jack stands the past 4 days and im beginning to like it, lol. jack-stand-itis or something... so i was thinkin if my car was more than just a tank... maybe something that can compete with men in SUV's too.. (i already compete with the women)

Without much money and a little more work you "could" install a 3 inch body lift designed for a truck.
With a lot more work AND money you could install four wheel drive in it using S-10 truck drivetrain parts, and you wouldn't have to lift it much to accomplish this.
I felt I had to answer this post like I answer my kids' questions, to inform, not to discourage.
