Where can I find a steel T bucket bed???
Hey Gents-
I just purchased a 23 Dodge T Bucket Body (2 seater). I would like to put a steel trunk bed on it much like the fiberglass trunk beds that are available. Where in can I find one? Obviously it will probably have to be custom built, an I am willing to pay. I just have to find one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or if any of you have an idea on what I can do for a truck bed for it, I would appreciate it. Thanks. Brent |

re: Where can I find a steel T bucket bed???
Brent; You are probably going to have to use a Ford A or T bed unless you luck up on a Dodge bed. Lots of the Ford sheetmetal dealers sell beds.If you still have trouble locating what you are looking for--you could build your own.If you still need more info PM me & I'll help you find something or info on building your own.Good Luck--DAVE--I reread your post--Are you looking for a TRUCK bed or a TRUNK turtle deck? The trunk turtle deck can be purchased from--(http://www.rootlieb.com)

re: Where can I find a steel T bucket bed???
Dave-Thanks alot for your reply. I don't care if it is a Dodge or Ford bed. This is the first older style rod that I have built and I am just looking for an all metal truck bed or turtle shell for the back end that will mount up flush / attach to my Dodge body and not look retarded on my frame.
I would really prefer a truck bed over a turtle shell back but would take the latter if I can not find a trunk bed. I can guarantee that I am not skilled enough to build my own steel trunk bed. I am a wrench monkey. Body work is latin to me. Thanks for your post Dave, and any additional information that you can provide to me on a Ford sheet metal dealer I would appreciate it. I may PM you, because at this point I am LOST and desperate! Thanks again. Brent |

re: Where can I find a steel T bucket bed???
Brent; If you want original parts try (http://www.classiccarpartsfinder.com/parts_search.htm) They are probably costly, just a matter of what you want. Don't know a lot about these guys but they list Dodge bed parts, their site is under reconstruction but their # is (507)831-5625 (www.horkeyswoodandparts.com) If this don't get you where you want to be PM me & I'll help you find something else--I know I hate to be looking for something & know it's out there, but can't find it.

re: Where can I find a steel T bucket bed???
Dave- Thanks. I will try those sites as well. The truck bed or turtle shell DO NOT have to be original. They just have to be metal. If I can not find either of them with the information that you have provided to me, I will message you. Thanks again.
