Good luck finding a good bed for your 71. The only bright side you have is the entire bed bolts together so you can look for one or two good pieces at a time until you have enough to make a good bed. The only trick is the sides are spot welded to the floor at the back tailgate corner. When you are disassembling to get your good pieces, you will need a grinder or good chisel to remove this weld. There are LOTS of bolts to remove!!

Doesn't Mar-K sell bed-kits?

Yeah I just checked. <a href="http://www.mar-k.com" target="_blank">http://www.mar-k.com</a>
just plugin your make, year and model and it'll give you a complete listing down to cross-sills etc.

good luck.

or you could go to a furniture depot. hehehe.
