where are common rot spots on 1972 chevelle 2 door coupes

i have a 1972 chevelle 2 door coupe and i am wonderin where the common places of body rot are and where common places on the frame rot are. and if i find any what would be agood way to go about in fixing it. if any one has any information for me that would be great. thanks.

Frame rot on a Chevelle is usually not a problem unless it is exposed to extreme conditions. Body areas prone to rust are a follows

Rear window lower corners
Lower rear quarters behind rear wheel because of leak from above.
Front window if it has leaked and not repaired properly.
Rear quarters in front of rear wheels.

Also, bottom of front fenders. Floor panels can be a problem due to previously mentioned window leaks.

Front passenger floor board. MY 71 cutlass has it there. My old 76 ta had it there also. I think it has something to do with the heater core being on that side.
