Where to drive?

Hi I'm new to this board. A friend of my family said he will give me a go kart. But where can I drive it? Are there tracks that let you bring your own kart? I live in southern california. There are not any open places that I know of around here. Please help, I want that kart.

Go out to Hollister, or one of the ORV parks to ride. Guys ride ATVs out there.

Just make sure you got a flag and don't get run over by the big trucks.

Thanks for the reply, but geez, Hollister is over 400 miles from where I am in the Los Angeles area. I sure hope I can find something closer.

LoL, I've never been to Cali, but I know a bunch of the Bronco guys are from the LA area and always talk about wheeling. Hollister was just the first name that came to mind.

I'll ask around and see if there's somewhere closer for ya.

Take the on ramp to anywhere. Or at least tell your folks that. You'll end up with a starter car instead of a kart!
