Okay so in the process of buying myself a 1965 Cadillac DeVille, I have some rust that's JUST starting to form on the roof... I can either Paint the roof, or put on a vinyl top.
What do you guys suggest... and..
If I were to go vinyl-- where could I actually find prices on vinyl tops? Online someplace, perhaps?
being in a place like New York, where I am, I'm imagining it's going to cost a hell of a lot of money to buy and have put on, when I could order one online and only pay a guy just 100 bucks to put it on.
But I'm in the Metropolitan NYC Area, right on Long Island
Also to remember, I see you're in Georgia....
Up here-- where the weather sucks and cars get a lot of rust... you really don't see many places that cater to restoring old cars or selling the parts you might need.. I would expect there to be many in a place like Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and California, tho... and for some reason, Pennsylvania has a lot of old cars layin around in their bone yards.
