where is the i.d. number at on a 80s model chevy van 8.5 rear end ?
looked on the axle tube on passenger side bu i didnt find one, could be just passenger cars that have it in that loaction ?? thanks Wormy

all of them have it trucks vans cars etc
pass side tube upper part of the tube take a pocket knife blade and a flashlight, start scraping til you see something.. its on there,, somewhere sometimes they are a pain to find
