I run a trans cooler like this one..In all my cars.. Mounted under the car or truck right inside the frame.. Ran these for years with no problems..
If you have one with a fan that makes it even better.. You can run it anywheres under your truck you want...Just make sure you have it where the fan can push air though it.. Keep it away from the exhaust as much as you can.. You should be OK..
