Where is the serial # on the 1949 chevy pickup
I just got my 1949 chevy pickup yesterday and took it to local dealer in Ohio to verify the serial no. since it is a out of state truck. We look all over and could not find it. He said it might of gotten taken off and on some vehicle they would stamp it on the frame as a back up.
Can anyone help me Thank You Marcus

It should be on a metal plate attached to the drivers side "A" pillar. Open the driver's door and take a look. If it's not there someone removed it.
