Where the shows are.

Hey guys, where would be a good place to find out about local car shows once the weather clears up?
I am located in Northwest Ohio (blizzard country right now).
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I'm not sure about Ohio but in Wisconsin there are a number of good web sites that list many of the summer's shows. Try googling for "car shows Ohio" or something similar and you shoud get some hits.

Hemmings web site has a section on car clubs. Car clubs are usually the ones holding the shows and cruise nights. Here is a link to the site with the Ohio clubs listed. Hope this helps.

In our area there is a book that comes out each year that is available at the swap meets that gives the show schedule and contact info for the meets and shows..Maybe there is something like that where you are..

I just google "car shows OHIO" or Michigan, etc.

found one not long ago that had tabs for every state, click and look

Not all shows are listed on all sites, obviously. Grab your calender and keep looking and writing them down. Little local shows you will never find.

I also transfer last year to this year, most fall on the same weekend every year.

In Saskatchewan there is an annual meeting where all the car related clubs -antique, rod runs, classic, muscle, VW, English, Corvette, Ford, etc. - get together and make up a schedule of all the summers events. That way not to many similar events fall on the same weekend. The shedule is published and sent to all clubs involved.
