Some of you guys paint a pretty bleak future. Buddy down the sreet just finished a 70 chevelle SS(350 w/454 transplant), running under 13 sec. And he's 20yr old.

Check out the area steam shows and plowing matches. Those old Sawyer Massey steam tractors run like new on coal and wood. and the guys running them are youngsters too.

What rodeo is complete w/o chariot races, chuckwagon races, etc.

There will always be a generation to hot rod cars. Unfortonately, it started out a poor man's sport, but all the spectacular cars of today will, inevitably, become rich men's toys.
