Angry whistling noise

i have an 86 chevy camaro 305 4bbl. i recently took my passengers side head off to get a bolt drilled out of it. after i had put it back on i threw a new edelbrock intake manifold on it too. now the engine is making a small whining/whistling noise. it takes about ten minutes before it starts. also after about fifteen to twenty minutes a louder whistling noise is coming from what seems to be the tranny. if i push in the clutch it goes away when it first starts. but after it has been doing it for a while it whistles no matter what. if any one can help i would appreciate it. thanks!!!

I'd say you have a vac leak and a noisy throwout bearing!

usually if you can push in the clutch and the noise goes away, it`s either the throw out bearing or worn input shaft bearing.
