I was just wondering how many people here play guitar?I have a very high interest in the hobby myself.I can sit back and play for hours without stopping.What kind of guitar and amp do you have?Who are your influences?What songs can you play?

Sounds cool man.I like to just sit back from time to time,turn the amp off,pick up my acoustic,and just make up something that sounds good.I've come up with alot of music that way.Some of it sounds better on the Gibby..Some doesn't.Just depends on what it is I guess.What do you have in storage?

hmmmmm...Dean Markley tube amp...not sure the watts??...brand new (almost) in the hard shell case Westone Electra???...the name escapes me right now but that might be it. I haven't been there in a while...a 66 key synthesizer...Roland 890 digital recorder...hell..I think there is a $1K Neuman mic in there too...oh, and a gibson mandolin - electric.

I moved to California about a year ago from Milwaukee and haven't really went back to grab the stuff. But I got my Vantage 6 string steel and my Martin backpacker w/ me. Thats all I need right now.

I play for hours too...really soothing to the soul. I've written about 20 songs..I have a lot of fun w/ it.

Right on!Sounds like some cool stuff.When I get the cash,I wanna get me one of those Fender Resonator's that you can play like a regular guitar,(the ones without that square necks),and pick away on it.I've always loved the tone that comes from those things .

Yeah..It's a dobro lol.I was gonna say that at first..But I thought that someone would be like "WTF".I thought it was just one of them 'ere "cuntry" terms .Anyway..Yeah..I mess with a slide a little.Not too much good at it,but I'd really like to learn.About all that I can do with one is GN'R's "Bad Obsession" Intro.I figured it out by ear..Pretty simple.

The Ranger V8 process is going as slow as a sloth.I haven't even got the truck yet.I'm looking at one in Tullahoma Tennessee.It's a 1992 4 Banger model.He wants $2k for it.Since it's a used car dealership,I asked if he would trade for my 1994 Escort LX.I took the time to take pictures,send 'em to him,and want 2 days for a response with pics of that Ranger.Then,I call him today and he said that he looked up the value of the car on KBB and it said $500,(low value ),and that he could give $700 for it.I was VERY dissapointed at that.Such a good little car .I asked him if he'd give $1k and he said that he'd have to see the car and drive it before he knew.I'm not going to waste the time to drive the car over there on a 3 hour trip just to SEE if he likes it lol.I've got the car on eBay right now.I really want this truck.It's a good deal,and I can go and pick it up to make sure that it's worthwhile.Plus,it gets good gas mileage with that 2.3L and manual trans for my high school journey.
