Here is some good reading on it.
Reason I got turned off on it is because I used it in a '95 escort 1.9 SEFI engine w/ 5spd. Right after the oil change w/ the supertech the engine developed a tap, that never went away, the oil was soon changed and was very thin unlike it should have been. That was 4 years ago tho, it may have gotten better. It may be made by mobile or/ shell, here it would be mobil. Wal mart has companies make things just a tad cheaper and they buy in bulk, I don't know if this carries into there brand oil's, but if exxon or mobil uses addetives that make it what it is, indiffrence to plain oils of yesterday, and walmart has them left out to save a little so they can bump there price to just under the basic value of other companies selling the same or a comparable product. Wal Mart actully has over a 200% markup on a lot of stuff they sell. Look at Xbox's and PS2's. 4 cents cheaper than other places, but it cost's them over 20 dollars less per unit than other suppliers, the reason is the capacitors and resistors are cheaper, the drive bay motors are cheaper quality, it all adds up but the consumer is paying only 4 cents less. Also with guns and walmart. look at a winchester rifle price guide, there is a wal mart price and a regular price for each gun, Wal Mart guns have a couple of diffrent parts and there made cheaper than regularly. My mom has worked For Wal Mart for 10 years, so she knows the in's outs and what they do, how they do it.
