who puts alternators in generator bodies?

I know there are places that will remanufacture gererators, adding diodes and switching to a rotor/stator setup etc...the problem is, i just cant remember who does it!!!
please help!!
i'd REALLY prefer someone who does oddball stuff...cause I'm working on a 50s Jaguar...

HEY GOOD:

The company that makes six volt alternators is Fifth Avenue, guys name is Randy Rundle. I do not have their web site here at work, if you cannot find them on the web give me a shout I am sure that I have it at home.... GOOD LUCK.... DAVE
