who sells caulk strip?

I have an old 60' roll I got at NAPA 25 years ago.... cracked and dried out. The only thing I found at NAPA now is a 3M strip caulk in little 1' sections. I need to seal my door splash shields and 1' pieces won't really do.

Is this stuff sold at auto paint stores? Or is it under a new name these days?

Thanks,
-Michael

Michael,

You should be able to find that at any auto paint store. On my nova to seal between body panels and such I used some caulk cord from chevy2only. Its more like the original that was used in various places on the car. Stays soft and is not to stiky. It comes in a roll.

Check a full line automotive body and paint supply store. 3M Corp makes every flavor and style of caulk, adhesives, sealants, and all are top of the line.

Thank you, I'll take a look at a paint shop. I had searched online, but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Hopefully replacing the missing caulk on the door shields will stop some more wind noise.
