I had the same feeling about a bike I saw at a recent Hot Rod Reunion nostalgia drags at Famoso. It ran a dual-turbocharged 426 hemi.

E. J. Potter you say Sandflea> I worked at a major custom bike shop in the south in the mid 70's, we had a complete machine/fab shop ect. Anyway- One day a guy comes in with several pictures of E. J. Potters V-8 Chevy Drag BIke and want's us to build one, The boss thinking the guy is just an idiot and gives him some large off the wall figure, the guy produces the money, the boss realizes the guy IS an idiot but one with money and we build the bike. We had two Nitro drag bikes and a Gas Pro Stock bike and our Pilots were handed the job of testing this thing out at the local drag strip. It made three smokey, squirrelly passes and our guys refused to do any more, the owner gets it and makes four passes and the last time is saw it was on some car dealers show room floor in St Petersburg Fl. as a eye candy. EJ made tons of passes over the years. Just proves "There's a Butt for every Putt!"
