Who's already seen "The Passion of The Christ"?
And who's gonna go see it soon? That would be me.
This movie survived many attacks from the vocal critics (before they even saw it) and now is a "must see". However, if you're not into gore, you should probably pass. My son says high school kids that got to see it on sneak preview night were stunned.... You've been warned.

Let me know how it was, it thought it looked kind of boring. I'm going to see EurOtrip this week.

I will be seeing it ASAP. The theater here is rented out by churches for the first day or two. I can not imagine anyone with a christian background not seeing it. From what I can imagine it really shows what Jesus went through.
Most people do not understand the physical torture. A study of history and the types of torture would reveal that Jesus likely had little to no skin left in the areas he was whipped. I once heard a speaker on this that made it very real. Apparently the whips used in those days were lined with metal and/or other shards to pull skin out when they were used. It seems the whips basically stuck in the skin and were ripped off taking the skin and muscle tissue with them. From the stuff I have seen on this movie, this is one of the things that they are going to show that is not widely known. I think it is a great reminder to christians exactly what went on that terrible day. I think it will also make a huge impression on anyone who is not already a christian and sees the movie. Chris

A bunch of HYPE, thats all it is.....cause a controversy and all the "Sheep" flock to it......
Since this is going to thread is probably going to turn into a religious rant, here's mine......... Almost every war in history was started by one thing......."Religion" That's all I will say.....1...2....3....GO.
