That would be my guess.

Save it for the track....according to your statements you are doing 45 mph approximately 3 feet from a guy in a motorcycle jacket, in a no passing zone, through an intersection.

...and then you started a thread to show everyone? Way to lose your bearing Seaman.

When liberals get elected locally or nationally,
they will put a stop to all the evil menacing dangerous hotrodders,
restrict their fuel,
mandate smog compliance,
fine them heavily for infractions,
lock them up,
confiscate and crush their cars
as a warning to others who might follow in the footsteps of those evil menaces to society.

and that empty office building behind my car will be reborn into a sexual predator rehabilitation center where they bide their time buy melting guns and turning them into windmills and solar panels

I hope you are not implying that I am a liberal. I enjoy hotrodding and making horsepower, and hopefully soon I will be able to pursue both of these things full time. I enjoy a burnout as much as any one else, and I wouldn't drive a camry if gas was $4.50 a gallon or $450 a gallon.

But if you want to give them a reason to take away our cars just run over a few civilians...and as the senior chief made clear this was a controlled environment so I withdraw my "protest" (that guy in the jacket shouldn't have been standing there) but nothing makes me angrier than some punk showing off and endangering people and causing problems for the locals. It gives all of us a bad name.

I may be strange that way but I also get angry when I see some chick sprawled across the hood of a car with a 10,000 dollar paint job, leaned back against the cowl dragging her diamond rings and bracelets across what probably took someone several hundred hours. I get some serious anxiety when that happens...I don't expect you to understand.

It was just a casual comment. Not a personal attack.

I agree, we all can get a bad name from irresponsible actions.
The picture obviously shows a sign in the background which told me it was a controlled environment.

When I was young, we NEVER did things in town, and when we hung out, the next morning it didn't look like a garbage truck exploded in the parking lot.
Consequently the police and business owners were our friends, not our adversaries. Today, the young people have no respect for anything or anybody.

As for why someone would allow anyone to sit on their personal vehicle...... I couldn't care less.
Just don't lean on mine, anytime. The consequences might be serious.

Thanks for the insult. I DO understand, but I don't care.

Scott I get V's point. Though I think his original post was a little sharp toothed, he does have a point. No one here was there when that picture was taken except for you, and you're the only one that knows if it was safe or not. I'm a police officer and I have seen the ill effects of poor judgement mixed with a 3000 pound car many more times than I care to admit. But I'm also a hotrodder and have had lots of fun being a moron in an empty parking lot. (oh, and sorry about the grass at your fairgrounds Springfield, MO, it was just real slippery and my car got stuck in a tailspin when powertour rolled through) You CAN safely have fun with your hotrod at other places than the track. But be sure your right about the "safe" before you do it. Nobody cares if you're sorry.
